Abstract
Gaining an understanding that feeling stuck is not always a bad thing. This will be followed by a discussion of how words matter and how insights in psychotherapy only take root with awareness and practice. There will be an opportunity to present case reports.

Objectives
After the completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain why feeling stuck in psychotherapy is actually a place of opportunity
  2. Illustrate ways in which words can be harsh or helpful
  3. Prepare and present case reports and process therapeutic interventions
