Abstract
This will begin a discussion of black women and girls, sexual abuse and liberation.  It will include and introduction to an understanding of the societal landscape and cultural betrayal trauma theory. There will be an opportunity to present case reports.

Objectives
After the completion of this class, participants will be able to:

  1. Outline current understanding of the harmful aspects of black women’s and girls’ context in society
  2. Discuss racism and intersectional oppression and marginalization
  3. Prepare and present case reports and process therapeutic options
